The Trooping the Colour Colonel’s Review took place in extraordinary weather conditions with 2 week’s worth of rain apparently falling within just a few hours. The hat of this Scots Guard bears the evidence of the soaking that he received while he took part in the parade.
It was the first time that I had witnessed British pageantry and I found that it was well worth braving the pouring rain for.
