You’d be forgiven for thinking that this was taking in Jodhpur (the ‘blue city’) but actually it was one of my favourite corners in Varanasi. The vivid colours would hit me and it was hard to walk past without taking a photograph so I have a few variations of this. But I particularly like this one because of the contrast with the vibrant orange of the flowers and ‘puja’ items that the little store was selling.
