There is something dark in this picture. Like ice cream sellers and clowns, balloon sellers are supposed to be happy – hence the expectation on the girl’s face. And yet there is a grim determination on this man’s face that paints a different picture. I think he has a quota of balloons he needs to sell and he’s not having a good day.
