I think I’m going to enjoy this week’s photo challenge as I have a huge archive of sunrise and sunset shots, not to mention photos of that lovely period when the sun is low. Here’s another shot from Varanasi, taken at sunrise. Getting up at 5am to catch the early morning light there is a no-brainer in the summer months, as not only is it the best time for photography but by 7am it is too hot to do anything – so you have to catch that relatively cool period just to keep you sane for the rest of the day!
