It is not uncommon on my walks around Thanedhar to come across people carrying heavy burdens. The thing that surprises me is that they usually find the time and energy to smile at me and even pose for a photograph. But this man had his head down as he passed, just concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other. I think he had carried his load along way and was looking forward to the end of the journey.
