A momentary glimpse of natural, unforced beauty is a wonderful thing. This mother had wrapped her sari around her child to protect it from the sun. And so, through a piece of simple but vibrant cloth enveloping them both, they became one. For me it is such a powerful image of motherhood that my heart misses a beat whenever I look at it.
