Yesterday during one of my last early morning photo walkabouts in Varanasi (as I finally leave tomorrow to head for cooler climes) I came across a group of  turbaned men, each one sporting a different colour turban. The men all had a smile on their face and a twinkle in their eye; and were delighted when I asked to take their photograph. This is fortunate for me as they look so striking in their wonderful turbans, complemented by their perfectly twirled moustaches. They thank me profusely as I show them their photographs and move on, to which I genuinely reply “The pleasure was all mine!”
