This was taken just after 5am. The sun was barely up but the laundry people were already hard at work washing the clothes. The weather is so hot in the day-time now (in the mid-40s) that you cannot blame them for wanting to work as early as possible. By 7am it is already hot, by 8am it is too hot! By late-morning the ghats are deserted. Everyone is indoors trying to keep cool.
