Lake Como

This was taken looking out from the little town Varenna earlier in the year when there was still snow on the mountains (though with the amount of rain we’ve had in Italy of late I wouldn’t be surprised if the snow is back again now).

I can never tire at look at Lake Como, in photos or preferably in person. It really is stunning!

    1. Faz, it’s not a maze as such but part of some topiary in an ornamental garden belonging to Villa Monastero standing in prime position in front of the lake. (I was standing on a road looking down onto the garden below). Incidentally, this photo was also taken there:
