The waiter in Bellagio, Italy

I spotted this waiter running down a narrow street in Bellagio, Lake Como. I’m not sure why – whether he had been sent by the chef to source something, a customer had left a wallet in the restaurant or worse still left without paying. I took a quick photo as something about the drama, that late afternoon sun and the cobbled Italian streets had a slightly poetic feel to it. Or maybe I’d just been drinking too much Prosecco.
