Thanks for your comments folks. Normally the building was just a pretty ordinary looking bar but at that moment, thanks to the position of the sun, it was a wonderful electric blue (the picture hasn’t been photoshopped). I saw the young lady with child walking past and only had an opportunity to take one photo. I was disappointed at first that I hadn’t caught either of their faces but then, looking at the photo I decided I liked the anonymity of it. She could be a young mother or the child’s sister – I’m not sure, but it seems to represent familiarity and caring, which I like, and the very simple vivid background focuses your attention on them.
